I use this as a carry on travel bag. It is excellent for my needs: light weight, able to hold a lot of stuff, well made and it can also be reduced to a very small pack. I do not use this bag for multiple heavy items.
I would use this for carrying work out gear to the fitness club.

Very nice bag!

I have had the black color in this bag for about 3 years and have found it durable yet light with the potential to use it in multiple ways. I use it as a travel carry on bag to carry snacks, clothes and other light items. I do not use this bag for heavier items such as bottled liquids though it may be fine to do so.

This thing is so versatile, but I have used it most often to haul soft gear for camping. It's constructed well and is super durable, has survived plenty of tosses and tumbles without ripping. When it's fully stuffed, the handles are a teensy bit shorter than I think I'd like to have in a perfect world, but the fact that it packs into itself and retains the stuff pocket (Chapstick, IDs/credit cards, medication, etc.) really makes up for everything. This bag never got ripped up carrying my snowshoes, and obviously hauls your entire collection of Montem gear really well: from trekking poles and spare tips to blankets, jackets, and a hammock, this thing will do it all and get your all, all the way there!
